It is almost 9am in the east on Inauguration Day. While checking the fleet for my day career, I have ABC News on the TV behind me. Good Morning America just showed shots of people painting walls and moving things around in the White House.
For years, about 96 staffers redecorate and paint the main parts of the White House during the transition period on Inauguration Day, so that when the President is sworn in, and walks into his office it is all set. It would be interesting to see POTUS Obama carrying a bankers box of files, pictures and his favorite stapler.
This change, got me thinking about the White House website. Here is what it looks like now:
Let’s see how fast they change the site after Obama is sworn in.
