Well, that’s it. The towel has been thrown in. John Corzine has been unseated as Governor of the State of New Jersey and has just given a great concession speech.
Sure, Corzine was a financier who may have been around at Goldman Sachs when the current recession was a spark in the eye of Wall Street, but at least he was honest.
Did Corzine lord his power over people? No. As soon as the recession hit, he wanted to band together with NY and PA to help the people who were hardest hit. This was the guy who nearly died, defending the honor of the Rutgers Women’s Basketball team.
If you loved Cheney, you are going to have a blast with Christie. Congratulations to the rest of my state… you elected a man who has more blind ambition, no real care for civil liberties, and pure contempt for all things pure and good.
Well, the cold medicine has hit, so that means I need to stop watching returns, drift back into wonderful music and hit the hay.
Maybe when I awaken tomorrow, it will have been a dream. In the meantime:
