I’ve been on the fence about Jimmy Fallon, but this clip from last night’s test show, is kind of funny. He did a comparison of Gov. Jindal and Jack McBrayer, who plays Kenneth the page on 30 Rock. Maybe McBraeyer should host Late Night? Video after the jump. (more…)
As 2008 drew to a close, listened for songs that has a special meaning for me, in what was a very phonecian year. These musical compositions are meant to shed the bad and look out for what is to be. Clean Slate ‘08 is a phrase that my friend Suzanne came up with, since we both pretty much had shitty starts to 2008. As the year ended, things were looking up all around. I chose to start with what was an anthem of sorts for me, a sweet little love song by Meg and Jack White. The progression goes on from there, shedding lost love, days of insanity and looking to numb pain to “yes, yes I’ll be ok (with a funky beat none the less) and then… hope. Hope in the form of things that we have… and someone to keep them organized for us. Thanks to Brendon Benson and Jack White.
