My good friend Slickbyrd and I went to Coney Island yesterdato take in the sights and some of the music at the Village Voice Siren Festival. The walk along the boardwalk was fun – the amazing sites that are just so not the boardwalks I am used to. I will totally take the Jersey Shore (as in SOUTH JERSEY) any day – but this was real fun.
I am hooked by the Helio Sequence… they could be the new summer soundtrack, sitting at the right hand of Bob Dylan. Anyone who can whip out a live cover of The Beatles’ “Tomorrow Never Knows” and pull it off is OK in my book.
Slickbyrd and I took our cameras out for the first of what promises to be many shooting days this summer. As a result, and in an effort to be more accessible… I left Photagious for Flickr. See the new RDM Image here, with the Siren Festival shots and the Post Roof Hang.
